    Books: Members' recommandations

This thread is created for members to share the books that they read/are reading.

I got a book from library on south Indian temples and it has a good coverage of many temples in south india. Got interested in this after going through Ramesh's thread on temples in Tamilnadu(http://www.myfiatworld.in/showthread...indian+temples) and various temples appeared in MN's travelogue. I would recommend this book for every one.

If you know Tamil, read 'Ponniyin Selvan'. This is the best Tamil novel I have read till date and it will very well summarize the history of Chola kingdom 1000 years back. Kalki's narration is magical and it makes impossible to get off once started to read. It is available online but, I recommend buying a printed version.

    Online Version - Ponniyin Selvan

Thanks Ramesh. I can read Tamil very slowly. I know the alphabets. So I need to seek for some translation in English(definitely the originality will never get in translation)

I had already completed Shiva Trilogy I & II. Waiting for the Vayuputra release in March.

Currently reading "Krishna Key" by Ashwin Sanghi. Just started and seems to be interesting.

    Nice thread Sunil Cheer

For now, I go with Nilesh and would recommend - Shiva Trilogy. It will keep you glued till the end.

Waiting for the Third book - Vayuputra to release in the beginning of March.

    Greenday,

Oath of Vayuputra is already released .check at crossword .

Another book will be good to read is Fifty Shades of Grey is erotic romance by British author E. L. James.one the high selling erotic novel ever.

apart from being erotic it is worth reading once for the way story is narrated.
