Re: My Fiat Palio 1.6 Gtx

the pic of the odometer shows 155000 odd kms but the car has done around 185000 or so. thats coz the cluster was changed under warranty at abt 24000 kms because the trip meter kept getting stuck. Name: IMG_00000332.jpg

    Dear Chris,

Awesome photos of your GTX and the other FIATs in your family. Looks like one big happy FIATfull family

The engine bay looks so clean & neat it looks like the car just rolled out from a showroom and the way you have kept & maintained is just superb.

We are very happy to see you with so much passion and now the MFW Goa is going to be rocking with so many FIATs.
Love My Passion MYFIATWORLD - Warm Regards, MN - Mahesh Natarajan

    Hi Chris,

Your GTX is in mint condition, you have maintained it very well. The lineup of FIAT's is just too good.

    Dear Christopher sir,

warm welcome to MFW family. wow your GTX looks cool and clean. hats off to you sir.

a small doubt : what is the red rod in between front strut mounting in engine bay? Is that company fitted sir?
    Thanks & Happy revving,

Re: My Fiat Palio 1.6 Gtx

That red rod is actually an aftermarket strutt brace. It helps to improve torsional rigidity(making the chassis stiffer) of the cars shell and thus helps to improve handling/cornering. But for me the only change i noticed was a marginal improvement in steering feedback which helps you corner a little harder coz you get a better feel of what your front wheels are doing.Thats the only mod i have kept on the car till date. everything else is back to stock. works best that way !!

Its really nice to see a passionate family. Quite rare to see all the variants in a single family. Surprising to see that how passionate owners are appearing from everywhere across the country, at this time and age when you are really not expecting. Warm welcome Christopher.

    Dear Chris,

Hats off to you. Not an easy job at all to maintain a car in such a pristine condition given the challenges with servicing. By the way when and where did you source the strut brace ?. I am interested. Though I should agree with you from you experience still curious to know if that (steering) is the only difference you feel. If it is not too much to ask, could you please check by comparing it with and without the struct brace ?

    Regards,
