    Another Fiat Lover from Goa

    Hi.

I'm Peter and I live in Margao. My first car ride was in a Fiat.

I was brought home from hospital when I was born in my dads Fiat 600.

My dad had 2 Fiat 600's and a Fiat 600 D. My sister owned a Fiat 500 (the original one). My first car was a petrol Uno (more on that later).

The next Fiat was my brother's Palio 1.2 and then my Siena (facelifted, the one that looked like the Petra).

Besides the Fiats we have owned the following cars:

    Audi 80,
    Maruti Alto,
    Hyundai i10 and
Skoda Rapid which I currently drive.

My brother's non Fiats are: Maruti 800 (2 Nos), Renault Logan, Mahindra Bolero, VW Polo (used by his wife) and a Skoda Yeti (current ride).

My sisters cars: Maruti Zen, Wagon R (versions 1 & 3), Ford Figo (current ride).

I am a seafarer by profession and I spend half the year at sea.

I still end up driving around 12-15 K kms in a year and that too within Goa.

I hardly ever drive out of Goa. I know some of the members here.

I have interacted with Anupam and Sunil over the phone and I know Chris.

I know Chris not because of Fiat but because of Yamaha. We both belong to the "I had a RD club".

Yea I had a RD and Chris had one too and in those days if you had a RD and saw another RD rider, you would walk over put your right hand forward, introduce yourselves and become friends. And that's how I know Chris.

The RD was my first bike (my first vehicle was the Uno). I also used a RX100 and a CBZ. Currently I use an Activa and a Royal Enfield 350.

Currently the only Fiat in the family is my Uno which is undergoing restoration. Watch out for the thread on that.

I am also know me from my handle on other forums. I am active on TAI & GH. Being a Fiat Fan, it comes as no surprise that I have been banned from India's premier Fiat Bashing Forum.

Edit: A picture of both my Fiats parked in Panjim.

I parked the Siena and when I returned, I saw the Uno parked next to it. I had already sold the Uno then. I have re-purchased it now.

The only people who have a problem with FIAT are those who have never owned one!
