Tribute to True People's President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

    Hi Friends,

We all aware that our former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam left us with his dreams on 27-July-2015. We can use this thread to contribute towards his dreams and thoughts you admired from him. I could see whole people irrespective of gender/community crying for him. I am bit emotional from the day he passed away. we all will pray his sole will RIP.

    Dear Vibra,

Many thanks for posting the Tribute to the Man who dreamt in transforming BHARAT into a developed Nation and according to him he believed the movement should come from the younger generation and he emphasized that this Nation India should be Strong in Military, Strong & United breaking all Caste, Creed & Religion barriers, Strong in Knowledge & Skills, Strong Inside and Strong Outside and his vision of 2020 was rolled out so that every one thinks of the NATION as 1st and not of themselves as individuals.

My little 8 year old daughter cried and had tears rolling down her cheeks when his funeral was happening & we were watching the LIVE TV Program and she never personally knew him nor ever has met him and she is just come to 3rd standard now and she has told us that she will write a letter to Kalaam Thatha and she doesn't know him at all yet he has touched her little heart. I am sure he has touched the hearts of so many in India.

Today too many political parties have divided this Nation on Caste, Creed, Religion, Language and on so many other things and people don't look at themselves as Indian first at all.

This is exactly what these forces want an old story from Panchatantra where in an Old Man finds his 4 sons always quarrelling and fighting amongst each other and in-spite of his best efforts he wasn't able to bring any unity within them.

Finally on his death bed he was surrounded by his 4 sons and he gave them each 1 stick and asked them to break and they without any issues broke that stick so easily and said what's so great about it.

The old man then brought out a big bunch of 4 stacks of sticks of the same length & size of the 1st stick but all these were buncked together & held by a single round strand of a thin string and gave them each and asked his sons to break and with all their force.

They tried very hard with all their force and each one failed and looked at their father and he told them this is how they all should be together strong and united.

He died giving them a valuable lesson. This was not a story and it is also applicable to each & every one of us that's what such lessons teach us.

Indeed he was a great visionary and I am sure he has triggered the young minds to excel and we will surely see a great India which he dreamt in years to come. This Nation has it all in it and there is always external dark forces which will try to bring down the good from happening and this fight against GOOD versus BAD will continue.
