    Re: Red Hot Avventura

    Hello All!
Thanks for your compliments and interest shown..
Due to tight work schedule I cudnt spend much time with my Avvy as opposed to what i wished. Still managed to drive close to 450 KMs. Summing up my initial experience I wont list out the specifications and feature, rather let you know my initial findings of the car.

    1. Its the sexiest car out there.. and you really notice aesthetics and detailing slowly. Be it the back lights or the reindeer headlamps or be it front chrome grill, ambient lighting, you can see a lot of effort has gone into looks of the vehicle. This aspect makes you proud of your choice.

    2. On the flip side you feel lack of power in low revvs and have to downshift in slow speeds, bumpers, potholes, overtakes and uphill slopes(But better than the diesel version I test drove). You feel that the engine is pulling a heavy car. But at higher speeds comes the real joy of driving and it goes cruising effortlessly.

    3. Gives a great confident feel in the highway at high speed. Great stability and control.

    4. Ergonomics are good.

    5. Off-roading experience was better than expected. Drove around 5 km in an unpaved track that had huge craters, rocks, and highly undulating surface. Nothing touched the car from beneath. Suspension also did fairly good in not passing the jerks to the passengers. Only Scorpio or Duster would have done a better job. Satisfied!

    6. There is a rattling sound that has started coming from boot door-spare wheel arrangement while driving at uneven surfaces and at speed breakers. I have spoken to showroom and gonna get it checked at service center this weekend.

    7. I find clutch pedal too high to my liking(good thing is its not hard at all). While fully releasing the clutch it becomes difficult to keep my heels grounded. May be it will take some getting used to. But currently i find it not very convenient in heavy traffic conditions.

    8. Glovebox is too small for a car of such volume.

There are lots of positives about the vehicle like quality music system, defogging ac vents, good brakes..list of positives is very long.. but I have tried to highlight only the points which can be helpful to forum rather that lauding my car unnecessarily.

I will come up with a more detailed review may be post the first service after having driven few thousands KMs. Thank you once again. Please let me know if you have suggestions and tips for me.

You are smitten alright! Am sure your spending some time to sit and stare at the car and then notice one new line or detail you missed out earlier

Enjoy your ride! And some pics of the Avvy off road would be nice as well.

When you find the time please remove those ribbon.in case if any water contact with ribbon then you will have tough time to remove the stain.
