Adventure Continues with Fiat Palio Adventure 1.6

Dear All,

Yes you read it right well the adventure continues with Fiat Palio Adventure 1.6 Petrol this time,

It was a time when i got a call from one of my known person telling me that there is an adventure which is up for sale,

Well then i decided that i should have a look at the car and talk to the owner,may be we can have one of forum member buy the car,

At least the car shall be with one of the fiat fan,

Then i spoke to the owner and to my surprise i had known the owner from before and also infact saw the car earlier,

i decided to see the car and meet the owner,saw the car on the one of the weekend and after which searched if any of known person in group is inclined to buy the car.

Since the car was in a bad shape therefore telling anyone to buy it was not an easy task,

Some of the key attributes of the car were

1. Car was in a Rust State: Rusting is present in all the areas of the car,infact the engine bay area including qual top has to be completely built
2. Battery was low therefore the car was not in starting state.

Since the owner was known to me and an army person i some how always believed that engine would be fine,

Afterwhich had sent my denter to the place to look at the car and now when he comes back and i asked him- should be buy the car?

The answer was no need, we cannot built it!!!

Please don't buy the car,

Then i just told him one thing: we have bought the car and it needs to be built !!! and he was like it would take me quite long,

I said it's absolutely fine,i am not in a hurry,we need to built it and that is what is important to me,

Then,i went back to the seller and bought the car and got the paper work done,the seller said one thing to me : i would also like to see the car once's it back to glory and i said you would be the first one to see it sir.

Then the story began about how to get it transported to the Service Centre,

Since the car was not in a starting state : battery was down and i was running from pillar to post due to office and personal engagements,

Also one more point to say

When the car reached workshop - the different battery was used to start the car and it cranked in two self's - the engine was roaring like anything....

Plus a bonus was even the ac was cooling perfect....

Well i should say the car engine wise is perfect and the remaining we would be able to fix...

Hi Anupam,... I am waiting for the latest development on your adventure.. is it completely restored ? .. waiting for your update.. I too have a adventure 1.6 petrol and Honda City type 2.. my honda city is running fine,.. however the adventure has issues with the injectors, and thats why i have not used it for 5 months.. I am planning on selling the adventure..
