My Royal Enfield Classic 500 Squadron Blue

Guys here my new ownership is starting now, booked my RE Classic 500 Squadron Blue approx 2 weeks back and would get it tomorrow.

Today I went to see my bike,

And checked for any issues too.

    Found just two issues,

Side boxes were not aligned properly and there was a small scratch on lower rear part of front Mud guard.

    They'll take care of everything,

Surjeet also went with me check the bike and told me that bike is completely fine.

Rest I am excited and Getting it tomorrow.

Re: My Royal Enfield Classic 500 Squadron Blue

Congratulations, thats a nice colour. Oh, remember in Bullets, nothing will align properly ever. Perhaps these new bullets are better in that sense, but do not worry about all that.

One advise to you is that please do not change the factory silencer to any of these after market thumpers. They are incredibly noisy, I never understood why people want to make so much noise!! The new bullet silencers have a nice hiss tone, that is pleasant and mellow but still a nice sound.

Enjoy the ride, and do post more pictures when you get it in your hands.

    Kind Regards,
    Kiran

congrats on you new classic 5000. and 100000likes for the color.
i am having a desert storm for the past 2.5 year, done few long trips also. till now not a single break down ( fingers crossed ).
Fill the petrol immediately once you start noticing fuel indicator glowing. Classic 500 are prone to fuel pump failures.

Re: My Royal Enfield Classic 500 Squadron Blue

Oh I am very sorry guys, I completely forgot this thread. Due to work commitments I was not able to update.

I thank everyone for their wishes and valuable information.

Got the bike as scheduled and have completed approx 1300 kms.

I am not thinking for just any aftermarket loud muffler, in fact when I got my bull serviced I saw a couple of really good mufflers.

Moto torque is the brand with mufflers namely launcher and shark. And found both of them bassy and not too loud, in fact I also don't like noisy bikes that is why shortlisted both these. Would be choosing either of them.

Would also like to tell that bike is completely stock till now. It doesn't even have a crash guard.
Some accessories are definitely in my mind but first I would be getting

Moto torque muffler (or any bassy muffler)

Heavy duty think pipe crash guard.

    Would replace both the Seats.

Tail light grill (a couple of times some morons tried to smash it).

    A watch etc etc...

    Now it's pictures time

Re: My Royal Enfield Classic 500 Squadron Blue

Got my bull's second service done day before yesterday, would like to tell you guys that the bull's character has changed completely, it's much refined now, gear shifts has become much better, followed by pickup.

I was literally riding it like my apache RTR, full of twists and turns. Thump also has become better. Loving it even more now. I think I would also be moving to Motul 300v, after some time if warranty permits.

Forgot to mention that RE replaced the scratched mud guard which I pointed at the time of taking delivery of my bull under warranty.
